There is a significant relationship between gender and age difference on the prevalence of typhoid fever among patience’s attending Bolari Primary Healthcare, Gombe State.

The risk factors and practices associated with the prevalence of typhoid fever among patience’s attending Bolari Primary Healthcare, Gombe State include; exposure to sun does not contribute to typhoid fever infection, lack of enough and reliable water sources contribute to typhoid fever, lack of neat/health toilet facilities contributes to typhoid fever, poor sanitation practices contribute to typhoid fever infections, and eating unwashed raw vegetables contribute to typhoid fever.

The negative implication of typhoid fever among patience’s attending Bolari Primary Healthcare, Gombe State includes: fever and weakness, dehydration, gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting.

Recommendation

1. There is a need for the community population to increase their knowledge of the risk factors and causes of typhoid fever.
