Chapter Five

Summary, Conclusion and Recommendation

5.1 Introduction

It is important to ascertain that the objective of this study was to ascertain a critical analysis of impact of industrial accident in an organisation.

In the preceding chapter, the relevant data collected for this study were presented, critically analyzed and appropriate interpretation given. In this chapter, certain recommendations are made, which in the opinion of the researcher will be of benefitin addressing the challenges of industrial accidents.

5.2 Summary

This study aimed at havinga critical analysis of industrial accidents in an organistion. Six objectives were raised. These objectives include:To examine the causes of industrial accidents in various organization, to examine forms and types of industrial accidents in an organization, to examine and verify the measures taken or put to prevent industrial accident that occurs in an organization, to know the level of investigation that are carried out on accident occurrence in an organization, to examine the various laws and legislations put on accidents in an organization, to recommend on new feasible ways to maintain on accidents free industrials base.

5.3 Conclusion

Based on the above findings pertaining to the objectives of the study the following conclusions are drawn.
Work place or industrial hazards can affect manpower productivity. It can also make the organistion spend on unplanned events. The loss of skilled and unskilled staff by industrial accident also has a negative impact on the organistion. Therefore, safety must be the watch word of every organistion whose staff are at the risk of one accident or the other.
