The study revealed that a minimum of welfare services in the civil services of Imo State and the existing services are to say the least inadequate, table one and table two in the previous chapter elucidated this point.
The study also reveals that the workers in the civil services in the ministry sampled have a poor articulation of the welfare services and benefits that within this arrangement.
Virtually all those ignorant workers are in the junior and middle level of their ministries. The research study also unfolded the fact that workers and services that have positive bearing with their present well being such service and benefits are housing allowance (accommodation) transport allowance and sick benefit ranked high in the workers preference such issue like insurance scheme seems to be strange and unpopular among the workers an only one person represent 1% indicated his choice for it.
Table 5 revealed that as many as 91 respondents representing 91% of those sample believed that they are not constitute in the formulation of welfare services and benefit while only 9% representing on inconsequential fraction think that their views are inculcated. The study further revealed that this 9% who believe that the whole package of welfare services in their ministries do not address their financial need.
