Objectives of the Study

The major of this study is to critically examine ICT Integration in Language Learning in Senior Secondary’ Schools: Teachers’ Perspectives.

By extension, this study will specifically;

1. Determine whether ICT helps teachers engage students in Language learning.
2. Determine whether ICT enables teachers to positively change students’ attitudes towards Language learning.
3. Ascertain whether English Language is taught effectively through the use of ICT.
4. Determine whether ICT enables English language teachers to effectively manage overcrowded classrooms.
5. Identify the challenges of ICT utilization in teaching English language in Junior secondary schools.

Research Question

The study will be guided by the following questions;

1. Does ICT help teachers engage students in Language learning?
2. Does ICT enable teachers to positively change students’ attitudes towards Language learning?
3. Is English Language taught effectively through the use of ICT?
4. Does ICT enable English language teachers to effectively manage overcrowded classrooms?
5. What are the challenges of ICT utilization in teaching English language in Junior secondary schools?

Research Hypotheses

• Ho: The use of ICT do not help English Language teachers to effective teach the language in Junior secondary schools.
• Ha: The use of ICT helps English Language teachers to effective teach the language in Junior secondary schools.
