1.0 Introduction
1.1 Background Of The Study

1.4 Significance Of The Study

1.6 The Limitations Of The Study
Most of the rural dwellers were too conservative to respond to the questionnaire issued by the researcher.

This is that act of raising and using of funds by individuals, co-operative societies, firms and government organization, for the day to day operations and management of their business undertaking.

This is the powerful effect that some thing has on anything or any body. It can also be seen as a help rendered with result to achievement of recommendable success.

World bank defines rural development as a strategy designed to improve the economic and social life of a specific group of people who live in the rural area.

5.0. Summary Of Findings, Conclusion And Recommendation
5.1. Summary Of Finding
Based on the analysis and interpretation of the responses made by the members of some of the societies in Osisioma. Some useful finding which are stated below was made.
- Co-operative will help to create employment opportunities for the un-employed, if well finance and motivated
- Co-operative has been recognized as the organizational vehicle for mobilizing the resources of rural primary producer ensuring acceleration and progress.
- Co-operative financing has positive impacts such as provision of drinkable water health centre, market, social amenities etc.
- The government makes or put efforts in developing standard of living in the rural areas. The provision of social health and maternity good communication network, construction of road etc.
- The problems facing Osisioma Local Government Area in financing is as a result of poor management loan default and lack of trained personnel.
- It was observed that due to insufficient or lack of capital base. Co-operative societies in the rural area find it difficult to get loans from banks to this effect they resort to individual lenders and in term will be exploited.
5.2 Conclusion
This study is concerned with the an examination of co-operative societies as a source of real estate financing Abia State. The finding of this study been very much optimistic and if rural development programmes would be very well articulated co-operative should come in for easy execution national planners who take full account on advantage of co-operative systems, an instrument for rural development of co-operative societies depends entirely on the social-economic background of people and the degree of education and resultant. The co-operative organization provides languages common to all development agencies.
5.3 Recommendation
From the finding, the general recommendation can be tendered.
- To stimulate rural development through co-operative illustrates who are tied to traditional practices of self sufficient farming have to be educated and adopt certain packages of improved production.
- The moment relies on the local leaders on voluntary services for meetings and other activities. It is suggested therefore. That to keep co-operatives society on an ever levels and moving too. Those who run this should be on couraged by financial reward.
- There is the need for government to actively support co-operative training and education in order to reduce the problems of staff shortage co-operative should be registered with less difficulty.
