Research Objectives

4. To determine the factors that influence people attitude of responsibility towards the elderly ones.

1. How does ageism affect the wellbeing of older persons in University Teaching Hospital (U.C.H) Ibadan, Oyo state?

Research Hypothesis

The following alternative hypothesis to be tested at 0.05 significance level have been formulated to guide the study:

• H1; Educational level of the aged tends to have an effect on the likelihood of experiencing ageism.
• H2; Social media plays a vital role in determining the actions and attitude of individuals towards aged people.
